An eLearning Instructional Designer
has a speciality in designing for electronic resources, such
as web and cd-rom, and should have an additional understanding

How can design add value to my business?
Instructional Design is a crtical success factor for the success
of corporate and higher education training. It also provides
a cutting edge for other disciplines, particularly the web
design, graphic design and eBusiness.
Unless a product utilises effective
instructional design, no amount of time and money spent will
gaurantee its effectiveness.
As an analogy, consider an instructional
and web designer as an 'Architect'. Yes, buildings/projects
can be designed without the help of an Architect, however
utilising the Architect/Designer ensures a more sophisticated
and often safer design.

6. How much does a webpage or Cd-Rom cost?
This can vary, depending on the
size and scope of the project. A standard webpage/CD-Rom design
may range from $500 to $5000. A more in-depth project may
encrue higher costs.
The larger the project, the more
hours and project memers are required. A project may take
anything from a few hours, a day, several weeks or months
to complete. Project members may include instructional designers,
web designers, web developers and project managers.
Generally, we can work to any
budget, but the end-product will differ in design and delivery.
